Moving to Missional

As I continue to study, pray, and reflect on Missional Church issues, I find myself moving more and more toward that model. The foundation of being missional is knowing, believing and understanding that you are "sent." (see John 20:21). It seems that as a UM, I've heard a lot about making disciples (see Matthew 28:19-20), but we tend to skip over the "go" in those verses.

As I discover my "sent-ness" I also discover I am more and more uncomfortable with what I've been taught the church was...a place where people could "come."
